You just go in, order and buy 'em for a buck. If you have grill fatigue and want someone else to do the cooking, Sonic is offering one-dollar hot dogs today (Thursday, August 29) only. According to Delish.com, Sonic wants you to enjoy an All-American Dog or a Chili Cheese Coney for just a dollar at all participating locations. There is a limit of five per customer.

The special dollar dog deal runs today (Thursday, August 29th) only. There are two Sonic locations in the Capital Region. There is one on Hoosick Street in Troy and on Route 7 in Latham. All you have to do is go in and order your dollar dog. There is no coupon or code required.
