My son, Ryan, works at Liberty Ridge Farm in Schaghticoke, New York. He has been working there for over a year. He has many jobs, including tending and caring for the animals.

Ryan loves all of the animals and takes his job very seriously. He was determined to get a pygmy goat of his own. Owning a goat in our town is prohibited, but Ryan found an alternative. The owners said if he were to find one, they would add it to Liberty Ridge.

In May, while visiting Buffalo (where my wife is from), they found two pygmy goats at a local farm (Kelkenberg Farm). The farm was looking to rehome them. It was the perfect scenario.

After donating, Ryan was the proud new owner of two pygmy goats. They were named Josh Allen and Keon Coleman (as per the farm). This was great too because Ryan is a big Buffalo Bills fan.

We then made arrangements to pick them up this past weekend and bring them to their new home at Liberty Ridge Farm.

Yesterday (Sunday, July 6th), we drove them four hours inside a box filled with hay to our house and then ultimately Liberty Ridge Farm.

Ryan is so proud to have these little guys to take care of. Although they will live at Liberty Ridge Farm, they are Ryan's goats. He will tend to them as much as possible, with the staff at the farm helping.

If you visit Liberty Ridge Farm, you can ask for the goats by name or say that you want to pet or feed Ryan's goats. They will be available when the farm is open throughout the season.

See How Chrissy's Son Ryan Brought His Beloved Pygmy Goats Home

Chrissy's son, Ryan, who works at Liberty Ridge Farm in Schaghticoke, dreamed of owning pygmy goats but couldn’t keep them at home due to town rules. While visiting Buffalo, he found two goats in need of a new home and arranged for them to live at the farm. Now named Josh Allen and Keon Coleman, the goats are cared for by Ryan and can be visited by guests throughout the season.
