Ride Sharing Approved in California. Would You Use It Here? [VIDEO]

This is an interesting development, and could be a major threat to taxi cab companies.  It's called ride sharing I happened to see this on YouTube.  California has now approved ridesharing which would allow you to jump in a car that is approved for this new form of transportation from everyday people who use their own cars to take you where you need to go!

Would you use this service if it came to Albany?  Remember, the drivers  have to go thru some rigid testing and background checks, so it's not totally taking your lives in your hands, but again, would you feel safe doing it?  Would love to know your reaction.

For me, I would stick with a traditional cab driver.  i remember a guy I used in South Florida once.  We had a great conversation about Florida politics and country music.  He was a real character.  It made the vacation much more interesting!
