There is a new coffee game in the Capital Region. It is sure to get your engine running. Two local marketing and PR firm executives are now in the coffee business. They opened Motor Oil Coffee's first location in Troy in May. They have plans for more locations and their new one just opened in Schenectady.
Who Started this New Coffee Venture?
On April Fools Day last year, Joe Bonilla announced that he was starting a coffee company. It was thought to be a joke because he is in the PR business. But it wasn't. He and his business partner, Rich Fazio decided to bring their new coffee to the forefront.
Where Are Motor Oil's Coffee Shops?
One Motor Oil Coffee shop opened up in May inside the 518 Craft tasting room at 200 Broadway in Troy. They serve hot and cold coffee and baked goods.
The newest Motor Oil Coffee location is now open on Upper Union Street in Schenectady. They are excited to have a store in Schenectady because they began Motor Oil Coffee as a vendor at the Schenectady Greenmarket.
More Locations Coming Soon!
Motor Oil Coffee will also open inside Slip 12 in the Warehouse District of Albany. This is where Huck Finn's Warehouse once was. The target date is sometime in 2023 according to News 10 ABC. They also hope to have a fourth Capital Region location before the end of this year.

The name of the company is Motor Oil Coffee and fittingly it has been available since July at car shows. You can also purchase it at festivals, farmers' markets, and on Amazon.
