Popular Capital Region Eateries Branching out to the Big Apple!

Many people in the Capital Region are familiar with a Moroccan restaurant that has three locations here, one in New Jersey, and one now opening up in New York City!

Tara Kitchen Will Open its Fifth Location Soon

The original Tara Kitchen Moroccan restaurant opened at 431 Liberty Street in Schenectady in 2012.

There is another Tara Kitchen at 172 River Street in Troy.

Tara Kitchen is also at 1785 Western Avenue in Guilderland.

Tara Kitchen opened up a Moroccan restaurant at 5209 Pacific Avenue in Wildwood, NJ.

Now Tara Kitchen Will Be in New York City!

This will be Tara Kitchen's fifth location and after an exhaustive search for a location in New York City, they have found it. Aneesa Waheed who is the owner said they had been looking to be in the Big Apple for over a year. According to the Albany Business Review, after looking at eighty locations they settled in Tribeca for its community atmosphere during the day and night. The new location is 253 Church Street.

The plan is to open the New York City location on December 20th.

Aneesa said that the new location is perfect.

Tribeca is a quaint little part of the city. It's got a lot of community that lives there. I wanted to be in a community where people come home from work and want to go out for dinner or you want to meet your friends there for a drink.
