Where Is The 13th Capital Region Chipotle Being Built?

Get ready for the thirteenth Chipotle Mexican Grill location in the Capital Region. It's being built in a very busy section of Saratoga County. This one will also come with a rare drive-thru called the Chipotlane.

Chipotle is proposing to build a 2,325-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru Chipotlane near Exit 12 of the Northway. The town of Malta's planning department is going through the proposal.

According to the Albany Business Review, they hope to build on a portion of an existing lot just off of Route 67 at 4 Kelch Drive. The space is behind a Starbucks off of the traffic circle at the nearby intersection. It's about three miles north of GlobalFoundries in Luther Forest.

There still needs to be approval from the Saratoga County Planning Board and the Town of Malta Planning Board.
The entire property is owned by Southampton Hospitality LLC and includes Five Guys, Jersey Mike's, and the AT&T store.

A New Chipotle Mexican Grill is also planned for Hoosick Road in Brunswick. There are currently twelve Capital Region locations. There are 3 in Albany, 1 in Amsterdam, 1 in Saratoga, 1 in Schenectady, 1 in Clifton Park, 1 in Latham, 1 in Queensbury, 1 in Rensselaer, and one in Glenmont.
