Police Search For Vandals Who Destroyed Parts Of Local Park
A local police department is looking for any video or information that will help lead them to the individuals responsible for driving their vehicle through a local park, badly damaging portions of it.
Cohoes Mayor Shawn Morse tells News10 ABC that areas of Berkley Park, Lansings Park and Holy Trinity Parish Center were damaged badly by a vehicle. According to the report, it happened sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday in a part of the park that is used for various sports programs.
The Cohoes Police Department is currently looking for the individual(s) responsible for the vandalism and are asking the public to help.
According to the News 10 story, police are looking for a "90s model white or gray color Jeep Grand Cherokee"
The Mayor, clearly distraught over it told the news station that in "5 minutes somebody can destroy a year's worth of work."
