Saturday was a grey and wet day throughout the Northeast and the moods of these ball players reflected that. The weather prevented the scrappy and talented bunch of little leaguers from Pittsfield American Little League from playing yesterday so they'll suit up this morning instead, one win away from the Little League World Series.

Because of some heavy rains during the day, the New England Regional championship game against Coventry, R.I., was rained out. The teams will now meet at 10 a.m. Sunday, with the winner advancing to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. The game will once again be on ESPN.

The Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA goes from August 16th-26th and features a total of 16 teams.  8 of those teams coming from the United States, and 8 teams representing International countries.

Let's hope the forecast for their game this morning is a little sunnier, as these kids from an hour outside of Albany, are raring to go!
