It is not exactly an honor, but some Capital Region cities are once again being pointed out for their propensity to hit the bottle.

Let's hope we can spread this message enough to help authorities safely find a missing teenager from the Pittsfield/North Adams, Massachusetts area. A 17-year-old Berkshire teenager has recently been reported missing and police are asking for your help as they try to locate her.

Police and corrections officers in Vermont have asked for your help as they try to track down a convicted murderer who has 'disappeared' after recently being released from prison.

Monday afternoon at approximately 2pm, Harry Chandler Jr of Pittsfield. escaped from the watch of the Berkshire County Sheriff's office.  A manhunt is underway to find the 33-year-old with a violent past who also is a sex offender.  If you see him or think you may know his whereabouts, the sheriff's are asking that you do dot approach him, but instead call 911.

I don't know what I'd do if I ever witnessed what Tony Paulyk from Pittsfield saw when,  thanks to a nanny-cam, he peaked in on his 19 month old at home with the babysitter. While he and his wife were at work, babysitter Kaylena Sayers, could be seen slapping and shouting at their child while she was attempting to feed him.  It's a tough video to watch.  I'm not a violent person, but I honestly do

Saturday was a grey and wet day throughout the Northeast and the moods of these ball players reflected that. The weather prevented the scrappy and talented bunch of little leaguers from Pittsfield American Little League from playing yesterday so they'll suit up this morning instead, one win away from the Little League World Series.

Feasibility studies are currently being conducted on possible rail service between Rensselaer and Pittsfield.

UPDATE: One of the teens has been found. Gwendolyn Fairweather was located by Pittsfield PD late last night. Police are still searching for 14 year old Mia Salatino. There seems to have been a lot of teens that have gone missing in the passed few months. Fortunately most have been found safe. Let's hope that these two young girls will also be located and returned safely.
