There is another massive vehicle recall. This time it's over a half-million Ford vehicles of all types. Here's what you need to know. According to WGRZ, there is a major Ford vehicle recall that is due to the seatbacks in their SUVs and trucks. The worry is that the seatbacks may not properly restrain people in an accident.

The over five-hundred fifty-thousand vehicles include certain 2018 through 2020 F-150 pick-up trucks, 2019 and 2020 Super Duty trucks, 2018 and 2019 Explorer SUVs, and 2019 and 2020 Expedition SUVs. They have also included some 2020 Ford Explorers and Lincoln Aviator SUVs. These vehicles all have a manual driver or front passenger seatback recliner mechanism.

There haven't been any reported accidents associated with the recall of the nearly half a million Ford vehicles, but they are taking precautions. There will be inspections done of all seat structures and replace them if they need to. Starting October 7th, owners will be notified.
