New Blue Friday Fundraiser Date Announced For Fallen Police Officers
It's quickly become a WGNA tradition. It's been recognized year after year by the New York State Legislature. It's BLUE FRIDAY. This year we're announcing a new date for our fundraiser to raise money for the families of fallen police officers killed in the line of duty.
Please put this new date in your phones, tablets, paper calendars - any place where you can remember! Sean, Richie and Bethany will be broadcasting live on location on April 24th, 2015 in front of Hannaford Supermarkets, 96 Wolf Road in Colonie from 5:30am to 9:00 am.
We will also be "simulcasting" from the 99 Restaurant, Wilton Mall, 3073 NY-50, Saratoga Springs, NY the same morning, so if you're in that neck of the woods, you can still donate. In fact, you can walk in at any time (even after this event) to any local 99 restaurant, as well as any local Hannaford and give to the cause.
At the two main locations you can quickly pull in, contribute to the cause and purchase all kinds of apparel and much, much more if you wish. Here are what some of the tee shirts look like.
Please click below, "like" their Facebook page, and check out some of the other items and pertinent info.
We want to help families devastated by the loss of a loved one who bravely served their communities and tragically lost their lives doing so. Please help us help them. Let's raise a TON of dough!
