Is there a more worthy cause than supporting the men and women in law enforcement who spend every day protecting us?

They give so much to our communities, sometimes making the ultimate sacrifice, and this is our chance to give back with the annual Blue Friday fundraiser.

Join 107-7 GNA as we help Blue Friday of New York raise money to recognize the sacrifices of men and women in blue and to support the families of our fallen officers.

Join Brian & Chrissy in the Morning as they broadcast live from BJ's Brewhouse at the corner of Wolf Road and Central Avenue in Colonie, where actor Erik Estrada of Chips fame will make an appearance to support the cause.

You can also donate at the 99 Restaurant at the Wilton Mall or Lacy Ford, 25 Maple Avenue, Catskill. Visit any of these locations to donate to this important cause by purchasing a t-shirt, challenge coin, and more.

This year's fundraiser will culminate with a special escorted memorial motorcycle ride to honor our fallen officers. Blue Friday, along with Erik Estrada, will be at Spitzies Harley-Davidson on Central Avenue in Colonie from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday,  April 25. This event will culminate with an 11-mile ride from Spitzies to the New York Police Memorial at the Empire State Plaza for special prayer and wreath presentation.

See The 10 States With The Highest Tax Burden

We can count on two things in life. Death and taxes.

In the state of New York, we can count on those taxes being high. But how high is our tax burden in the Empire State versus other states?

Wallethub recently ranked each of the 50 states based on overall tax burden which they define as "...the proportion of total personal income that residents pay toward state and local taxes." These rankings base that ax burden number on property, income, and sales taxes.

Here are the top 10 states from those rankings, And, yes, no surprise - New York made the list. But are we that bad off? See where New York ranks!
