Love Cowboy: He Vanishes On Valentines

I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and I've noticed a trend. He's not a big fan of Valentine's day (and neither am I really) but I do think it'd be nice to do something. I don't expect expensive gifts , I just want his quality time.

Last year (our first Valentines) he planned an ice fishing trip with his buddies...so we did nothing. Not a huge deal, he had these plans before we met. Fast forward to this year, he told me a few weeks ago that he was going on the same trip with his buddies. I reminded him that it's Valentines weekend and I'd like to do something with him. He told me he'd make it up later this month. I feel kind of slighted here. What do you guys think.
