Love Cowboy Counsels Couple Caught Up in Career Change

I'm 29 years old and am considering a career change, but I feel like my husband is trying to discourage me.

We've been married for 7 years, have two kids and I work in health care, but I really want to go back to school to be a doctor. It will take years and years of more schooling but I'm determined to make this work. My husband has not been very supportive. All he talks about is how many additional things he'll have to do to pick up the slack when I'm not around. I even told him he can quit his job. Am I being selfish here?
