Love Cowboy Calls Out Parents To “Do Better”
Simone in Grafton writes:
Please help. My husband and I have one kid and he's 7. He constantly plays me and my husband against one another. It's almost as if he likes when we argue so he can divide and conquer. The other day, while my husband and I were spatting, my son asked for something and I said 'no.' Immediately he said 'well I'm gonna go ask dad' and my husband stupidly said 'yes' and he does this all the time. Is it normal for a child to secretly be rooting for the parents to argue so that they can get their way?
Simone is caught up in a situation all too familiar with parents. Kids will always be kids, but the parents need to "do better" as Love Cowboy points out.
Love him or hate him, the Love Cowboy is about as consistent as they come. Every weekday morning just after 6am and 8am, he saddles on up inside the GNA studio. He comes with relationship advice for you GNA listeners and insults for anyone who dares to get in his way; usually that person is Brian.
Overall, it's his no-nonsense approach to life, love, and the current state of affairs that make him quite refreshing in today's climate. Be sure to check out the replay of each daily segment, the next morning just after 6am.
