Local Contestant On Jeopardy! Thursday

We love watching Jeopardy! every night in our house. Well Thursday it will be even cooler to watch because one of the three contestants is from the Capital Region. Hannah Ewing, who graduated from Columbia High School in 2005, will be on Jeopardy! tonight (Thursday March 8th). Hannah went to school at Bell Top Elementary School and Goff Middle School while growing up in East Greenbush. Hannah graduated from Connecticut College and teaches sixth and seventh grade at a school for children with language-based learning disabilities.

According to the Columbia High School page, Hannah said, "I grew up watching Jeopardy." She took the online test last May not thinking it would lead to anything. She said, "It was a whirlwind. I never thought it would actually happen."

I'm excited for her not only that she is from the Capital Region, but I have a lot of respect for those who make it on Jeopardy!. You have to be super smart just to pass the online testing.
