That is one man's dream.  To have a big party with people singing "Happy 125th Birthday to you, Happy 125th Birthday to you, you don't look much older than 102", or something ridiculous like that.  Can money buy you that kind of happiness?

Billionaire David Murdock says "absolutely yes!"  David is the founder of the Dole company, and is starting a food research facility.  And he is pretty convinced that they can find a way to keep this octogenarian healthy and happy to age 125!!

According to an article in the  New York Times:

I never have anything go wrong,” he said. “Never have a backache. Never have a headache. Never have anything else.” This would make him a lucky man no matter his age. Because he is 87, it makes him an unusually robust specimen, which is what he must be if he is to defy the odds (and maybe even the gods) and live as long as he intends to.

How amazing is that.  I'm 30 years younger than him and I have a headache and a backache right now!!!

You can read how he plans to do it, and, hell--God Bless him if he can.

Would you want to live that long even if you could?   Think about that (while you still are able to think!!)

My favorite old age one liner comes from Rodney Dangerfield:

"Hell, I'm at the age where I could go tomorrow!--Hell, I HOPE I go tomorrow.  I haven't gone today yet!!"

(Of course, Rodney's no longer with us--talk about no respect!!!)
