A New Pharmacy Run by Students Opens in Albany
You always need to tip your hat to young people doing great things in the community. Students from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Sciences opened the doors to a new facility on Warren Street in Albany.
According to News 10 the college opened the doors of the new pharmacy to serve the south side of Albany.
One full time pharmacist will oversee the location and manage the school's pharmacy students. The pharmacy will offer not only medication but many other much needed services to the Albany area including medication management therapy which is great for complex medicinal needs. The students will also offer blood pressure screenings.
The school will offer a variety of benefits to the community and to their education.
Do you think this is a good thing? Though it is a greatly needed service for the area it's kind of a big responsibility for the students. Hopefully, the kids are up to the task.
