If you have ever thought about being an Emergency Medical Technician, here's your chance to train for free. Here are the details. There is a shortage of EMT first responders so there is a free training program that could help you become one. According to TimesUnion.com, Mohawk Ambulance Service is now taking applications for their free EMT training course.

Mohawk Ambulance Service is accepting applications for its free EMT training course. It is a five-month course for those who qualify which will make it possible for that person to become a certified EMT without the financial obligation.

There are options, too. There will be two classes offered once a week at the same time. Mostly, the classes will be held on Mondays beginning September 9th through February of 2020. Friday class will begin on September 13th and run through February of 2020. Mohawk Ambulance Service will host the training course.
