
Flooding and Evacuations in Schoharie, Greene, and Rensselaer Counties
Evacuations and Flooding reported in the Albany area.
According to WTEN
GREENE COUNTY:
Prattsville: There has been a voluntary evacuation order issued for the Village of Prattsville, alongside Schoharie Creek and alongside the Bataviakill Creek.
SCHOHARIE COUNTY:
Evacuations are in progress in Blemheim Town, Broome Town, Middlebourgh Village, and Schoharie Village. Please contact your Local Fire Department for emergency information for your area.
As of 10:00am, September 7, The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Flood Warning for:
The Hoosic River At Eagle Bridge
The Schoharie Creek at Prattsville
The Schoharie Creek At Gilboa Dam
The Rondout Creek at Rosendale
The Esopus Creek at Mount Marion
The Esopus Creek at Cold Brook
An Areal Flood Warning is also posted for Delaware County until 4:15pm
