The Red Cross Needs Your Help And Your Blood

Tropical Storms Irene and Lee have caused many problems here in the Northeast. Not only did it cause flooding and destruction thoughout the area. It also caused the cancellation of many blood drives.

According to the Times Union, 145 blood drives were cancelled during the times of these storms and many hospitals are running low on blood for those who absolutely need it the most.  This is a slow time for blood drives so something needs to be done and you can help.
