We have made it to the end of another week and that means it's time to break out another great country song and video with this week's edition of Flashback Friday.

This week we go back 12 years to 2000 for Clay Davidson's lone top 5 hit "Unconditional".

From Clay's debut album of the same name, "Unconditional" was Clay's very first single and his biggest hit climbing up to # 3 on the Billboard charts in the summer of 2000. Two More singles "I Can't Lie To Me" and "Sometimes" wouldn't have the same success only making the Top 30. His label, Virgin Nashville, would close up shop in 2001 and merge with Capitol Records. Clay was later dropped from the label before recording any material. He hasn't recorded any new albums since. These days he spends time in his native Virginia, playing in a band called Caution.
