How Much Did We Get? See Upstate New York Snowfall Totals
After a healthy stretch of January rain, snow returned to the Capital Region and Upstate New York this weekend.
Winter has been pretty shifty this winter, going from rainy and mild to cold and snowy back to rain. Whenever we get snow, it seems it is quickly washed away by a mild spell with showers.
This weekend we shifted back to some snow, and some spots in the Capital Region and and surrounding areas got a good chunk of snow. This storm started slow as rain in a lot of spots, but eventually shifted to wet heavy snow blanketing the region.
From the snowfall totals below, it looks like Schoharie County, Western Albany County, and Greene County were the winners for the most snowfall this go-round.
Weather-wise, News Channel 13 says it looks like a lore quiet week ahead with dry cloudy weather through Thursday, with the potential snow-showers heading into the first weekend of February.
Before we get to the next round of flakes let's recap snowfall totals from throughout the Capital Region from the storm that just wrapped up today.
