Ballston Spa Restaurant Fire

It was an early morning for several area fire departments.

In a story from The News Center on News 10 ABC, fire broke out around 4:30 a.m., Monday August 5, 2013, at Augie’s Restaurant, at 183 Church Avenue, in Ballston Spa. There have been some serious issues with fighting this fire for the firefighters of the Ballston Spa Fire Department, Malta Ridge Fire Department, Round Lake Fire Department and Saratoga Springs Fire Department. They have been having some major problems trying to put the fire out.

No word yet on the extent of the damage. The fire caused some major traffic problems because two of the major roads had to be closed - Route 50 and Route 67, in Ballston Spa.
