Almost $2 Million Raised

Over the last few days we shared stories and learned about all the people in the Capital Region that live a better life thanks to the Center For Disability Services.  WGNA is happy to report that $1,967,035 was raised this year to keep the center’s services and programs going strong.

The center provides some medical, dental and primary care services, as well as education and adult dayhab programs for all ages and all disabilites.  From infants to seniors with over 300 disabilites, everyone is given the chance to live a better life!

This year’s telethon welcomed comedian and actor from Saturday Night Live, Seth Meyers.  In addition to your favorite Fox 23 hosts and WGNA personalities, the telethon also featured David Robertson of the New York Yankees and Adam Koets of the New York Giants.   Plus, an all star cast of local talent that performed live at the Holiday Inn Albany on Wolf Road.
