Vote To Help Local Girl With Cerebral Palsy
Beautiful Maya Vasquez is 3 and 1/2 year old. She has bravely dealt with the challenges of cerebral palsy at her very young age, and actually was a spokesperson for last year's Center Of Disabilities Services Telethon, which we cohosted. Maya is now entering a national contest, and she simply needs your vote.
Here's the explanation from her mom, Audrey Bishop:
Recently in January, she was chosen by her school, The Center for Disability Services in Albany to be one of the child spokespersons to represent for the telethon. Right now, NMEDA (national mobility equipment dealers association) is sponsoring a national contest for local "heroes" for everyone to cast votes to win one of three wheelchair accessible vans. We have just entered Maya into the contest and are excited and hoping to spread the word to win! For us to win one of these vans would help us and Maya so much in our daily lives and would create even more opportunities for her to enjoy life to the fullest.
Please help us spread the word!
