9 Months In and Another Restaurant Has Closed in the Capital Region
Seems like every time I check the news something else is closing its doors for good.
Lets not even get me started on all the stores leaving the malls lately, but it's the restaurants I'll truly miss because of all the food. I love food. Food is delicious.
Now the latest to close, just 9 months into operation is the first Capital Region, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery. The location is "permanently closed" as its Facebook page reads.
I've only been there once and honestly it was a good place, but I'm beginning to wonder, are we just sick of chain restaurants? Do we want something different? Something local? Tilted Kilt has over 100 pubs nationwide and while they're successful, sure, maybe locally we're craving something a little outside of the norm?
What do you think?
