"Walmart parking lot" must be on the list of the worst places in the world to give birth, yet a North Dakota woman did just that!  And what makes it all the more incredible? The store manager delivered the child!

Twenty-four-year-old Alesia Medeiros of Bismarck, ND, wasn't due for another six weeks. But on Thursday, she went into labor while she was waiting for her fiancé's mom to do a little shopping.

Someone heard her holler for help and called 911. Then, in what seemed like a scene from a movie, Walmart manager Derrick Orr saw Alesia, and ran back into the store to get rubber gloves, and he delivered the baby!  But wait, there's more!

He then tied off the umbilical cord with his SHOELACE!  His shoelace.

Alesia says she was mostly embarrassed, and couldn't believe she was giving birth at Walmart.

She and baby Diesel, 4 pounds, 14 ounces, are doing just fine! It turned out to also be a surprise birthday gift, as Thursday was Alesia's birthday!

Helpful shoppers were busy taking care of Alesia's three-year-old son, who was sitting in her truck while this whole thing went down, and Alesia's future mother-in-law missed the whole thing... because she was standing in the checkout line.  No joke.

Is this the craziest thing you've ever heard!?
