Whitney Houston’s body arrived just before midnight at a funeral home in Newark, New Jersey. The hearse was escorted by a large police procession from Teterboro Airport to Whigham Funeral Home.  Funeral arrangements are set for either Friday or Saturday.  The exact cause of the singer’s death still remains a mystery.

The assistant chief coroner on the case said the amount of medications recovered by investigators was less than the usual present in deaths attributed to overdoses.  Los Angeles County coroner Ed Winter said, "not many prescription bottles" were found.  "I know there are reports that she maybe was drowned or did she overdose, but we won't make a final determination until all the tests are in."  No foul play is suspected in Houston's death.

Winter confirmed reports Houston was found by a member of her staff in the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel room's bathtub.  He also stated she had been dead only an hour before she was found.  CPR was performed on the singer, but there was, of course, no success.
