Man Dies Following Schenectady Burger King Bathroom Incident

Local police confirmed this morning that a man has died following an incident in a Burger King bathroom at a high traffic area in downtown Schenectady.

While details of the man's death are somewhat sketchy, the Daily Gazette is reporting that the man was found unresponsive at approximately 4pm on Monday.  He was later pronounced dead on the scene shortly after 5pm yesterday.  Police haven't released names or cause of death at this time. The investigation, by detectives and evidence technicians from the Crime Scenes Unit, are looking into the cause.

The man was apparently inside the Burger King bathroom on Erie Blvd. in Schenectady when it became evident by either customers or workers that something wasn't right.  According to the report, police were called into the scene and the restaurant was closed while they performed an investigation.  At this time, Schenectady police feel the man's death does not 'appear to be suspicious'.
