Every year around the holidays it seems like there are more deals than just on Black Friday. Now it feels like those Black Friday deals are sometimes on Thanksgiving day. Well now nearly one hundred stores will be closed on Thanksgiving. I hope these stores are closing on the Thanksgiving holiday so that families can spend the day with each other and not have to run out during turkey dinner. Regardless of the reason, it seems that more stores will be closed on the holiday.

According to BestBlackFriday.com, more shoppers are getting their deals online which allows retailers to also take a break and observe Thanksgiving. Some of the retailers that will remain closed are TJ Maxx, Home Depot, Lowe's, Marshall's, Home Goods, Burlington and more. To get a complete list as of now, click here.

I have to say that I am happy that the list of stores closing for Thanksgiving is growing. I think the holiday is important for families to enjoy each other all day and not running off to get good deals. I am happy too that the employees of this stores that are closed allow them to have Thanksgiving with their families.
