The Center for Disability Services 52nd Telethon was held yesterday on WXXA Fox 23.  We, here at WGNA-FM, partnered up with Fox to help with the hosting of the telethon.  Friday was our radiothon and once again, our listeners came through for us.

On Friday, we had a lot of help and success from you (the WGNA listeners) with The Center For Disability Services radiothon on WGNA, and we thank you. This is one of those things that it seems like we can never do enough for.

The Center For Disability Services is an incredible place. Their tag line is “where people get better at life” and we want to help them get better at that with our radiothon, today on WGNA, and the telethon on Sunday on WXXA, Fox 23.

It was announced recently that Yankees star Joba Chamberlain would be a part of the Center For Disability Services Telethon slated for this Sunday on WXXA Fox 23. Now another big New York sports star has been added with the addition of  Wide Reciever Hakeem Nicks of the NFC Champion New York Giants.

Friday Morning (January 28th) starting at 6 a.m and going on until 7 p.m., all of us from Country 107.7 WGNA-F.M. will be asking for your generous support as we host the radio portion (radiothon) for the Center For Disability Services. Our friends from Fox 23 will be joining us on the air throughout the day.

This Friday, WGNA is asking for your help with our 2nd Annual Center for Disability Services' Radiothon.  Not only will we be on-air all day Friday looking for your sponsorship, but each of the on-air personalities will also be co-hosting the telethon Sunday, January 30th, along with Fox 23 and their staff.
