Everyone has them – Thanksgiving traditions that are passed down from generation to generation. Some of the more common ones go back a real long time. Get this!

I come from a very small town in Eastern Long Island called Mattituck.  I  have lived up here for almost 35 years, but I'm haven't forgotten my little town.  Are you proud of yours?  Well, let's put a song together for it!

I had a blast with this, as always.  Take two Capital Region schools.  Add some very creative elementary school teachers and students.  Put them together and what have you got?  A collaborative song to welcome spring!

It's always a lot of fun doing these songs about  local towns. Plus it's also an education to learn the history of some of them. Fultonville,New York is no exception.

This was yet another labor of love - to pay tribute to a living legend who is hanging up his pinstripes and retiring his number 2.  It was a big moment in sports history without question.  It deserved a song!

Always a rewarding experience visiting the Griswold Heights Community Center in association with the Troy Housing Authority and the Academy for Character Education.  These kids love this country and they are ready to sing about it!

Awhile ago I spread the evil rumor that Barnes and Noble was possibly closing it's doors in Niskayuna.  I  then made a statement in my blog that raised the hair on the neck of the Guilderland Public Library's Information Officer.  It's mea culpa time

Well, it think it's safe to say we are batting a thousand when we work together at Schoharie Elementary School.  I always seem to walk away with a hit song on my recording device, conceived and written by some very creative elementary students.   That's MY kind of school!!
