The show we binge watch the most in the state of New York has ties to Albany.

When did the Capital Region become the next Hollywood? Or even New York City? It seems as if in the last couple of days we've been bombarded with filmings and potential filmings in the area, here's a breakdown of all of what I found.

The summer movie season is slowing down but there are still some great movies to see along the way and the best person to turn to for that is Lights Camera Jackson.

When everything becomes a unique service, Disney finds a way to make it their own. Just recently they announced that they would be doing their own ride sharing service when it became legal in Florida. Now they are taking over the main streaming service and making it their own.

When Making a Murderer came on Netflix, I was hooked. Steven Avery, Brendan Dassey, and of course Teresa Halbach, I couldn't find out enough! Now, one of the stars may be released from jail.

Everywhere I look, I keep seeing more and more people talking about the show 13 Reasons Why. So much so that I had to watch it to see what all of the argument and controversy was about. This is a very important topic and a conversation that's crucial to teens but local schools are taking action against this show.

I love Netflix. Aside from the very few shows I actually watch on cable, Netflix is my everything. I like that Netflix is coming out with its own shows and even though I jumped on the Stranger Things train really early on, I haven't watched this show yet but I can't look anywhere without seeing it so I give in!

"The OA," an 8-chapter series that, from the trailer, seems to be part "Gone Girl" and part "ET," is one of Netflix's newest sci-fi mystery shows leaving viewers with jaws dropped and more questions than answers after its shocking conclusion. But unlike "Stranger Things," what makes this show special is not its nostalgic costumes or camera shots—it's just its weird and at-times confusing plot. Viewers have been ripping through the episodes ever since the show's release on Dec. 16, and fans have been piecing together where the show was filmed even though no official list of filming locations has been released. It seems as though many scenes were actually shot in New York.

"Binge-watching" only became a term within the last few years, but I've been doing it long before it was the cool thing to do. Before Netflix, before "On Demand," heck, before DVD.
