I play the lottery every so often and hope for that big win. Actually, I believe that someday I will hit a huge jackpot. But for now, there is someone in the Capital Region that is holding onto a big winner.

Last night's winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26. Powerball is 4.   The winning ticket was sold at the Pride Station and Store in Chicopee, Massachusetts, though the winner hasn't yet been identified.  One winner gets 750 million dollars, and since there were no other winning tickets, it's the largest single jackpot in history.  Sad thing is, it could have just as easily been me or you. I don't really gamble. Aside from spending $20 on slots once or twice a year and a few scratch-offs, I don't do it. Well, unless this happens.

I never understand how people don't collect their lottery prizes. This one is an enormous New York Lotto jackpot that could go unclaimed if not turned in by next Thursday.
