Last night's winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26. Powerball is 4.   The winning ticket was sold at the Pride Station and Store in Chicopee, Massachusetts, though the winner hasn't yet been identified.  One winner gets 750 million dollars, and since there were no other winning tickets, it's the largest single jackpot in history.  Sad thing is, it could have just as easily been me or you. Here's how:

Chicopee, MA is about an hour and a half away.  It's legit driving distance and it was sold at a place that anyone in Capital Region could have driven to on an afternoon or evening.  I know what you're thinking, "Brian, what the heck would I be doing in Chicopee, MA on a random Tuesday or Wednesday?"

Pretty easily actually.  There's a Chick Fil A in that town and I'm pretty sure it's the closest one to us here in the Capital Region.  How many times have you thought to yourself how satisfying that would be?  Make a delicious chicken run, stop into a convenient store to grab some gas and snag a few Powerball quick picks and BOOM Winner Winner Chic Fil A /Jackpot Dinner!!

Too far fetched? Think again!  Have you seen the actual odds of winning Powerball?
