I guess this was a big deal, but I didn't even hear about it until yesterday, to be honest.  There was a huge protest amongst college students complaining about student debt. Here's what happened.

Yes, it's true. I did a little digging and found out that this little side project started in 1995, so -I did the math and it hit me. WOW it's been 2 decades writing ditties with kiddies.

This was my return trip to Watervliet Elementary School.  This time it was to celebrate a day for ALL teachers.  It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

What a great school SCCC is.  Amazing amount of college majors available. Faculty? Very nice. But they were definitely missing something-a theme song.  (Are you starting to see a trend here during College Week?)

Well, our first College Week stop was a ton of fun at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.  There was a little of everything - music, games, students who dropped by - the whole 9.  The only thing missing?  A theme song. So I gave it a shot

I've been to Schoharie Elementary at LEAST 5 times that I know of.  I would go 50 times if they aren't tired of me already!

it's on everyone's mind again as NY Governor Andrew Cuomo passed new legislation to further scrutinize teachers, so I would like to throw my  Common Core anthem into the ring.

So Bethany brought her very cute son Turner into the station this morning, and he was holding something that put me into immediate flashback mode.  Did YOU have one of these? I sure did.  I Loved, loved, LOVED the Etch-a-Sketch.  And got me to thinking...

This is an exciting bit of news - especially for Albany High.  This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for a local marching band to play Irish tunes IN IRELAND
