Toss aside all those negative thoughts about troy for just one second and think about these places. Actually quite beautiful sights.

No matter where you go throughout the US you will find bad drivers. The Capital Region however has a few things going against it for bad driving.

It's May 18th and in other words, it's 5/18 or 518 Day! I've lived in the Capital Region my entire life and I love supporting not only my hometown of Schenectady but the entire area I come from so Happy #518Day!

It seems as soon as there was potential for Uber and Lyft to be in the Capital Region, people couldn't stop talking about it, it was the only thing that would make the 518 perfect. Now, we're not going to have to wait as long as expected.

While many people may lambaste the capital city of the New York, in reality it actually is a very beautiful city. Proof being shown in the drone footage below.

I personally have never heard of a cafe like the one that is set to open just a few miles south of Albany. Definitely seems like a cool one.

When I first started watching this video I legit thought that it was gonna be some straight Honey I Shrunk The Kids type stuff. Its not far off.

My Grandmother has lived almost all of her 85-years here in the Capital Region. Throughout the Growing Up 518 video series, she has told us so many stories of going to school, meeting my Grandfather, getting married, their first apartment, house, the birth of their kids and raising a family.

Nothing says 'May is here' like chilly temperatures and snow showers!
