SOLD! Lake George Fun Center Near Great Escape-What Will It Become?
The Adventure Family Fun Center was on the market for a while and last June the price was reduced to $1.5 million. This property just sold for $1.15 million. Will it remain a fun amusement park in the Lake George tourist region or do the new owners have other plans?
Adventure Family Fun Center Had A Lot To Offer
Included in the sale of Adventure Family Fun Center was a nearly twenty-four square-foot outdoor go-kart track, an indoor arcade, a laser tag arena, indoor bumper cars, an indoor go-kart track, and a space for events.
The New Owners Plan To Completely Change Over The Property
The seller of the property Justin Ermiger said that he is pleased with the purchase and what the new owners are planning for the property. According to the Albany Business Review, the new owners are part of Andy Caraylannis of NY Highlands Distilling Company.
Nic Ketter of Realize Brokers who is finalizing the deal said,
"Justin, who has been running it, inherited it from his father. He’s moving on, so the business will be closing up. We dropped the price ... and at that point there were multiple offers and multiple parties expressing strong interest. They’ll be changing the use and [Justin] liked the vision."
Could a new brewery or distillery be moving into this Lake George tourist area?
Just a few minutes further down Route 9 are Six Flags Great Escape, Martha's Ice Cream, and The Log Jam Outlets, and it is right next to Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf of Queensbury.
