Show Your Love For Skiing With New License Plate
In our area, with the colder weathercomes snow, and with the snow comes the opportunity to go skiing. And if you are a skier, the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the Ski Areas of New York are giving you a new opportunity to show your love for skiing.
A redesigned I SKI NY custom license plate from the DMV will be made available on November 22 to motorists statewide to not only show their enthusiasm for the sport, but also help support winter recreational facilities in New York State. Ten dollars of the initial fee will go to help support ski areas statewide.
New York has 50 ski areas, the most of any state in America.
The I SKI NY plate will be available in both passenger and commercial class, but only through the trade association Ski Areas of New York. You can call them at (315) 696-6550 or visit their Web site at www.iskiny.com.
If you already have the previous version of the plate, you will be able to upgrade to the latest design. First-time registrants can purchase the I SKI NY plate with a standard plate number assigned by DMV. The plate can also be personalized.
