When it's hard to make sense of the world especially to our children, we can always turn to Sesame Street. Now our favorite muppets have teamed up with CNN for a special called "Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism". According to Simplemost.com, in the wake of the death of George Floyd and the nationwide protests, CNN and Sesame Street will air a special on Saturday morning.

Sesame Street will take their message of inclusion, diversity, and kindness on CNN to also speak out against racism, to promote understanding, and to create a world this is kinder and stronger together.

Sesame Street will hold a virtual town hall for kids and parents to help them understand what is happening all across the country right now. CNN will host is and the focus will be on racism, how we can be more understanding, and how to embrace diversity.

The hour-long special called "Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism" will air on CNN Saturday, June 6th at 10 o'clock in the morning and it will stream live on CNN's apps and CNN.com. You will not need a cable log-in to watch.

Co[hosts will be Big Bird and CNN's Van Jones and Erica Hill. There will also be appearances by your favorite Sesame Street friends including, Abby Cadabby, Elmo, and Rosita.
