Richie’s First Attempt At A Music Video (For New Jersey Mayor Chris Christie) [VIDEO]

Consider this a test of the emergency "green screen" system.  This is only a test.  I wanted to try this very badly - using a green screen behind me to incorporate visuals  that went along with my song.  I'll let you be the judge as to how it worked.  Remember - this is only a test. 

In case you don't know the background of this story, here's a link from NBCpolitics.com. I did an audio version of this song already, but wanted to join the 21st century and try video.

Here's my elaborate setup.  I used an ugly green plastic tablecloth that I got at Target for $3.99.  You stand there and sing and then import this video into your favorite editing software (I used iMovie from Apple). You insert the photos (courtesy of Getty Images -thank God for them), the computer works it's magic, and  voila!  -- Here it is again...

Now remember, I was my own cameraman, plus I used my iPad as a teleprompter, so you have to cut me some slack here.  I'm only one man!!  It was a lot of fun, but I'l let you be the final judge and jury as to how it looked.  Thanks for viewing it at least.
