Every year I am honored to emcee the Mechanicville Stillwater Breast Cancer Walk. This past weekend was the 9th annual and it was bigger and more pink than ever. In the 9 years of this amazing event, these communities have managed to raise over $300,000 for breast cancer research. There were over one thousand participants in this year's walk. It was a sea of pink as we honored survivors and remembered those we have lost to breast cancer. There were memory balloons lifted into the sky in honor of them. The Mechanicville High School Soccer teams held fundraisers and presented a check for over $6000.

I am always proud of our community, but each and every year, this walk proves how passionate we are to find a cure.
