We Love Radio Here, These Saratoga Criminals Probably Won’t Anymore
I love radio. Without it, not only would I be out of a job, but one of my greatest passions in life would cease to exist.
The technology itself can be used in a plethora of ways, but one pair of criminals likely didn't do their research before utilizing the technology.

Robbery in Saratoga County
The night of December 15th, at around 6 p.m., two men decided they were going to rob a home in Stillwater. The two broke into the home, armed with burglary tools, and got to work. At the time of the crime, the two were using a two-way radio to communicate while in different rooms of the house.
Once the job was done, the two split up, with Joseph Briggs taking off on foot, while his accomplice, Michael Briggs, got in his car, and began to drive towards freedom.
The Capture
Things seemed to be working out for the Briggs... for about 10 minutes. At around 6:50 p.m., Saratoga County Police received a tip that burglars in the area would be driving a specific car, and headed out to look for it. Eventually, Michael was caught and arrested. So what happened to Joseph?
Turns out, he had no idea Michael had been caught, and called on their two-way radio to be picked up. Unfortunately for him, officers traced the call, and were able to catch him shortly after. The two were arraigned in Stillwater Town Court and are being held in Saratoga County Jail as they await their conviction.
