Queensbury’s Delaney Silvernell Survives Voice ‘Battle Round’
Delaney Silvernell from Queensbury had a close call during the 'Battle Rounds' on the Voice Monday night, but just when we thought her run was over she was saved by the unlikeliest of all heroes.
A few weeks back, we saw Queensbury's Delaney Silvernell sing her heart out during the Blind Audition rounds on the Voice only to have one judge turn around for her- Kelly Clarkson. You'd think that Kelly woulda had her back, but it didn't turn out that way. During the Battle Rounds against Abby Cates - a much younger and arguably lesser talent - Clarkson had to make a decision. Who would she keep, and who would she cut?
Kelly's decision surprised many who were watching as she 'kept' Abby, but Adam Levine swooped in and saved the day. The Voice judges get one 'steal' option per season, and Adam used his on Silvenell. So Delaney, is now 'Team Adam'.
And so are we!
NBC's The Voice returns on Monday and Tuesday of next week at 8 pm for the 'knockout rounds'
