I love this guy.  I know - maybe it's sacrilegious to call the new Pope a "guy", but I really don't think Pope Francis would be insulted.  He wants you to think of him as the "everyman" - someone not spoiled by power or position.  Case in point:

According to a story from Newser.com, the Pope (by his little old self) called his newspaper delivery person and canceled his subscription, thanking him for his service.  According to the article, here's how it went down-

"Seriously, it's Jorge Bergoglio, I'm calling you from Rome," Pope Francis told a disbelieving Daniel Del Regno. "I was in shock, I broke down in tears and didn't know what to say," Del Regno says. "He thanked me for delivering the paper all this time and sent best wishes to my family."

I think that is just soooo cool.  He has never forgotten where he came from.  Don't you wish some of our entitled politicians and celebrities would stop, look in the mirror and try to remember how they got where they are?

I just find it so incredibly refreshing.  I hope he stays this way and doesn't get corrupted.

There's only one fear that I have.  I keep thinking about the one teacher that you had that, on the first day, asked you to call him by his first name, and let the kids sit on the floor instead of the chairs.  Very cool in the beginning, but then gets disillusioned and goes the other way when it doesn't work.  Again, I just hope and pray (LOL) that he doesn't change

Do you like this Pope?  Would love to know...
