Ministry???  Or blasphemy??  A new Bible was just released for Apple's iBooks store called... wait for it...

"Bible Emoji: Scripture 4 Millenials".

Yes, that's right, the numeral 4.

Someone took all the books of both the Old Testament and the New Testament and translated them into emojis!   And, worse, they used texting lingo!

The goal??  Well, to try to get young people interested in reading the Bible, of course.

If you want it, it will only cost you $2.99.

By the way, the person who created it is staying anonymous . . . his pen name is "Sunglasses Guy."   Which I love!

And while I think this is completely silly on one hand, if you look at the other side of it, maybe it's not such a bad idea?

It is hard to get young people into religion, and if this works, or makes the bible easier to understand or relate to for them, then why not?  The bible has been translated into hundreds of languages, why not this one!?
