Man in Raincoat Exposed Himself to Kids in Upstate New York

It's been a few months, but the New York State Police are hoping that someone may have some information about an older, heavier man who was seen "inappropriately" touching himself near a popular campground in Upstate New York.

State Police in New York hope that someone reading this right now has some information about a man they say exposed himself to children in Upstate New York over the summer.

The Incident Happened This Summer

State Police in New York say that on July 9, 2024, at approximately 5:40 pm, they were informed of an "unidentified male inappropriately exposing himself to at least two children near the Hulls Falls Road Bridge over the Ausable River in the town of Keene," which is about an hour and 45 minutes south of Albany.

Police describe the man as a Caucasian older male, heavier in size, balding with light-colored or white hair on the sides of his head, and wearing a light blue raincoat and dark blue pants.

According to the press release, the unidentified man was sitting on the bank of the river across from the children in the water and then left the area in an unknown direction. They don't know whether he went on foot or by vehicle.

Same Description, Different Location

State Police also investigated other areas in Upstate New York after similar reports of the unidentified male surfaced.  According to their Facebook post, police have also investigated the Split Rock Falls swimming hole located on State Route 9 in Elizabethtown and a swimming hole on State Route 73 across from Five Mountain Loop trailhead.
