Pizza Hut Is Going Retro In Upstate New York
It seems like everything is getting more bland these days. The joy and whimsy that corporations, restaurants, film studios, etc. had used for years to endear their clients to their product is gone.
Restaurants might be the biggest culprit, with each one looking identical, holding a grey, minimalist aesthetic. Pizza Hut wants to change that...

A Retro Revival
Of all the restaurants to lose their old image, Pizza hut was the hardest. The stained glass lamps, red cups, and red roofs invoke a sense of childhood nostalgia, no matter what age you were. it's warm, familiar, and now... totally gone.
Luckily, Pizza Hut's parent company, Yum! Brands, has heard the public's disillusionment with the new look of the eatery, and wants to curry better favor. So, they've decided to finally bring back their old look, and it's coming to Upstate New York.
A New (or Old) Look
Unfortunately, not every Pizza Hut is going to revert back to the 90s overnight. The initial push will include 155 Pizza Hut locations nationwide, bringing them back to their nostalgic beauty that we remember so fondly.

There will be only two locations in New York that will receive these renovations, and they're both located in upstate (take that NYC). The first is located at 1010 PATTERSON ST in Ogdensburg, NY, while the other will be at 60 FRANKLIN ST. SUITE 1 in Carthage, NY.
It's unclear if this is simply a limited time promotion, or if the chain will eventually revert every location, but for now, it's time to bask in the glow of those red and white Tiffany-style lamps.
