We are looking forward to Phase Three businesses reopening this Wednesday and New York state has issued some guidelines that must be followed when the next phase is a go. Here are the details. Other parts of New York state are already open for Phase Three so there are guidelines that were outlined by the governor for the opening of indoor dining, tattoo shops, nail salons, and spa services. According to NewYorkUpstate.com, the state has outlined what is to be expected if you visit a restaurant to dine indoors and other personal care businesses.

The personal care businesses including massage therapy, spas, cosmetology, nail salons, tanning, waxing, tattoo, and piercing business will also have specific guidelines to be followed when opening in phase three. If you are to get a manicure or pedicure, baths and bowls are required to be properly disinfected between each client. There will be no saunas or services allowed in close spaces. All customers and employees must wear a mask and socially distance properly.

As far as dining indoor at restaurants, things will be significantly different than before the coronavirus pandemic. Indoor capacity will be limited to fifty percent occupancy. If social distancing is not available, barriers must be set up between tables. Employees must wear face masks at all times and patrons must wear masks unless they are seated. Bar and common areas must comply with six feet distance.
